It's been a while since I updated this but things have been crazy and this is the first chance I've had. On Leo's Birthday, something horrible happened and he was hurt badly. He had a major surgery and was in a coma for a long time.

But he's finally awake and he's healing well, he'll hopefully be out before Christmas. He has to have Physiotherapy to help his back and help him to walk again. The doctors are hopeful and say he should recover.

Everyone here is so nice and I'm really thankful to them explaining things to me. Douglas was a great man and I owe him everything and when Leo is better I'm going to repay him somehow. The nurse here is really nice too, she let us borrow this laptop.

All the nurses love Leo of course even with one eye the guys got everyone wrapped around his finger. He's always getting extra pudding, which helps him sometimes. They're looking after him and me, we even had some visits from Matt. Momma and Nix are good at sneaking him into the hospital.

Cee's been good to us too, he got all our stuff that he could from the apartment and has been looking after everything for us.

The police said, well Officer slatter. He's the lead in the case, he's looking after me and Leo. He said we can eventually have things out of evidence, and eventually, we can have Suzie out of evidence. it's hard thinking about her I'm going to bury her in Central Park near our tree, I don't know if I should take Matt. I'm going to think about it, but at least she'll be there and we can visit on walks.

I'm going to view new apartments with Reese soon, he said he'd help me get the best and make sure it's what we want. I don't know what I want, Leo normally decided it for us. I hope I can pick a nice one, with his help and with Officers Slatter's help too.

There is a lot going on and we're trying to get by. Everything will work out, I know it will and I know Leo will be okay one day.

Like he says take it one day at a time.

Leo also told me he loved me. I sometimes don't believe him and then he looks at me. The light from him is so bright that I know he loves me.
